Fully renovated luxury 2-bedroom cottage located in a resort style setting, located on the south shore of Rice Lake just 90-minutes from Toronto, Ontario. We offer a large pool, walking trails, playground, volleyball, and a shallow sandy beach, walking trails on 11-acre waterfront property. Whether your family is looking for great fishing or a quiet relaxing vacation by the lake you will find it at Cedar Cove resort.
Our cottage will provide you with completely new air-conditioned interior, new furnishings, new beds, new kitchen, and a new bathroom. Upon your arrival you will find, luxurious bedding, pillows, all kitchen and bath towels, a fully outfitted kitchen including, full sized appliances, over the range microwave, blender, and coffee maker, along with everything the vacation gourmet needs. Rainy days can be spent playing games, watching the 32. LCD TV and DVD's or enjoying the local amenities that Rice Lake region has to offer.
We provide outdoor table and chairs, propane BBQ, and a private fire area for those great family nights by the fire.
Whether you are looking to enjoy amazing sunsets, relaxing quiet or some of the best fishing in central Ontario, you will find it at Cedar Cove.

Unlike most people, we actually came here *for* the winter, and not the summer. We signed into a winter-long lease from October until May. We've been here for about one month, now.
Not only is the location ideal and scenic - but a little snow turns this place into an incredible, beautiful winter wonderland. Highly overlooked. Quiet. Cozy. Nature at some of it's best Canadian lakeland and woods in this region has to offer.
I have read the reviews of some experiences in other cottages, but Cottage #1 is immaculate. I am told the private owner of this cottage has invested a good deal of time and money into this unit. It shows. The kitchen is so well equipped - it came with a garlic press and tea-bag strainer! I've not once had to purchase cleaning equipment or supplies. My own home, prior to moving aboard our boat, was not as well equipped.
Large screen TV with Bell expressvu service. More room than we could need with all the beds. This cottage had crisp white linens waiting for us on the beds, and the porch BBQ has been used more than once since we arrived!
The owner appears to be courteous and prompt to address any small issues that have arisen (new floorboard heaters had been defective at owner's purchase, but promptly replaced). As any decent landlord, he's been invisible when you want him to be, but available when you need him to be.
We're happy to recommend this place (at least this cottage) to any couple, or family who wants to experience winter in conservative decadence, and immersed in nature's winter the way all we Canadians should - at least once!!
